Across all genres, I enjoy stories with complicated family dynamics, fraught romance, and complex characters who make mistakes. Call me Marie Kondo because I love mess.

I received my BA in Creative Writing from the University of South Florida and my MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida. I was an Assistant Editor at The Florida Review and Aquifer, and I was Fiction Editor at Olit literary magazine.

This poet, essayist, and lover of sour gummy worms was born in Miami, Florida, exposed to The Mummy (1999) at an impressionable age, and pressure-cooked in the University of Central Florida’s master’s creative writing program. She's the former fiction editor of The Pinkley Press and has poetry published in The Offing and Texlandia. Now, this horror wanders the earth in search of writing that stings, screams, and/or takes itself about as seriously as a Monty Python script.
